Der Ort lag bis 1815 im sächsischen Amt Weißensee und gelangte dann an den Kreis Weißensee der preußischen Povinz Sachsen.

Das Gut ging aus Kirchenbesitz hervor und gehörte den Familien von Teutleben, von Güpner und von Götze, ab 1839 von Seebach und ab 1899 von Hünersdorff, die es 1911 an Erich Beyse verkauften, dessen Familie es bis zur Bodenreform 1945 besaß.
